Higher Bebington Junior School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our team for two terms every morning from January 2021. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills as they will need to liaise daily with class teachers to discuss; lesson content, children’s learning, and ensure they are applying what has been taught in small group sessions back into their class learning.
The successful candidate will be expected in maintaining a high level of support for children’s needs, have an excellent understanding of KS2 curriculum and outcomes and be cheerful, flexible and approachable. We are looking for teachers who have the following experience, qualities and knowledge.
The role comprises a split role of:
- Teaching small groups in Reading, Writing and Maths across Years 3-5 in order to support our pupils to ‘catch up’ following the COVID-19 lockdown.
- Taking on the role of class teacher, whilst they are working closely with small groups.
