Wirral's Early Childhood Service is a forward
thinking team with an innovative approach that has received both national and
local recognition.
Business Support Officers provide effective
administrative support for the service including the use of new technology and
work collectively with colleagues across Children's Services to ensure
Children's Services is making Wirral great for children, young people and their
families.
In this
role, you'll support parents and children to access the Children's Centre,
helping to create a warm and welcoming environment. You will also provide a
first point of contact for professionals accessing the centre and will
coordinate services on site ensuring that the day to day running of the centre
is smooth.
You will
ensure we have professional administration support and maintain good
relationships with teams across Children's services, key stakeholders, partners
and outside agencies to ensure that service information is provided accurately
and effectively.
We are
looking for someone who can go the extra mile for children and families.
You'll
need to be qualified in Numeracy and Literacy to GCSE or equivalent level and
have experience working in a children and family or a community based
environment.
Your experience should include the use of
Microsoft Office packages, working with a range of databases and information
systems alongside the ability to work independently whilst adhering to
confidential information process and policies.
You will need a track record of meeting
deadlines, working effectively under pressure and have an ability to resolve
issues proactively.
Above all you will be looking to improve the way we engage with our residents to ensure they are at the heart of everything we do.
