In this role, you will work collectively with colleagues across Children's Services and partners to ensure Children's services is making Wirral great for children, young people, and their families. To supervise, direct, support and develop staff to provide a professional and seamless business support service including the supporting and arrangement of multi-agency meetings and provide financial, intelligence and administrative services which supports the functionality of children's services to meet local and statutory requirements.

We are looking for someone who is well organised, who can manage their time efficiently and passionate in supporting the smooth running of the service.

The successful candidate will have excellent literacy and numeracy skills and qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and have experience of basic data input entry to business support systems and extrapolation. An understanding of confidentiality requirements. Experience of working in a customer service or office environment. Able to work to deadlines. Management of staff and a thorough understanding of staffing processes, leadership and sustaining excellent working relationships. Financial and budget management. Experience using Liquid Logic / Info View or other relevant databases.

Above all you will be looking to improve the way we engage with our employees/residents/customers to ensure they are at the heart of everything we do.
