Elleray Park is a primary complex learning difficulties school, specialising in meeting the needs of pupils who have profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorder.
The Governors are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants Level 1, to deal with the welfare, general supervision and discipline of our pupils (aged 2 – 11) over the lunchtime period.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have had relevant experience of working with challenging children and a clear understanding of supporting pupils Special Educational Needs. It is highly desirable to have experience working with pupils with ASD, although training will be given. An ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential. .
All lunchtime staff are involved in actively supporting children over the lunch time period.
